- Ultrasonic Single Tank Cleaning
Ultrasonic Cleaning: This cleaning method relies on a phenomenon called cavitation. An ultrasonic generator converts electrical energy into high-frequency sound waves (typically 20 kHz to 200 kHz). These waves are then transmitted into a cleaning solution in the tank by transducers (usually piezoelectric). As the sound waves pass through the liquid, they create alternating high and low-pressure cycles. During the low-pressure cycle, microscopic bubbles (cavities) form. When the high-pressure cycle occurs, these bubbles rapidly collapse or implode. This implosion generates powerful micro-jets and scrubbing action that dislodges dirt, oil, grease, and other contaminants from the surfaces of the submerged items, even in tiny crevices, blind holes, and intricate geometries.
Single Tank: As the name suggests, this type of machine has only one tank. This means the entire cleaning process (cleaning, and sometimes rinsing, if done manually) happens in that one chamber.
Applications:
Single tank ultrasonic cleaning machines are widely used across various industries for precise and thorough cleaning of a diverse range of items. Some common applications include:
-
Automotive: Cleaning engine parts, carburetors, fuel injectors, and other machinery components.
-
Medical and Laboratory: Cleaning surgical instruments, dental tools, labware, and medical implants.
-
Electronics: Cleaning printed circuit boards (PCBs), electronic components, and stencils.
-
Jewelry and Optics: Cleaning jewelry, watch parts, eyeglasses, and optical lenses.
-
Manufacturing: Removing chips, lubricants, buffing compounds, oils, and other residues from machined parts, castings, stamping, and various metal and plastic components.
-
Firearms: Cleaning gun parts effectively.
-
Maintenance: Cleaning tools, dies, and molds.
Benefits:
-
Thorough Cleaning: Effectively removes stubborn contaminants from intricate and hard-to-reach areas.
-
Gentle on Parts: Powerful enough to clean effectively but gentle enough not to damage delicate items.
-
Versatile: Can clean a wide variety of materials including metals, plastics, and ceramics.
-
Environmentally Friendly: Often uses water-based cleaning solutions, reducing the need for harsh chemicals.
-
Cost-Effective: Can reduce manual labor and cleaning time, leading to overall cost savings, especially for low-volume or lab-type applications.
Tank size can be customized as per customer requirement.
